Of His Vast, Vast Mercies

Many are the mighty works of God above us
Many are the mighty acts of God who loves us
How marvelous that he should still think of us,
That our wayward ways He would align!

We are now the children of the Lord Most High,
We are granted an inheritance none can deny
All our praise and prayers we offer and to Him we cry,
“What a privilege, Father, to have been made thine!:

Of His vast, vast mercies will we sing
Of the truths and wonders of our God and King
We will sing with joy and gladness, no doubt hindering
Of the mercies of our God we all will sing

Endless are His blessings that He would elect us
Endless are His bounties, that He should protect us
How wonderful that He should not reject us
That from fear and wrath we can be free!

Of His vast, vast mercies will we sing
Of the truths and wonders of our God and King
We will sing with joy and gladness, no doubt hindering
Of the mercies of our God we all will sing

Sacred are the coverts of the Lord Most High
To the shadow of His wings our anxious souls will fly
He will grant us His protection, guide us with His eye
And defend us from the ruthless enemy!

Of His vast, vast mercies will we sing
Of the truths and wonders of our God and King
We will sing with joy and gladness, no doubt hindering
Of the mercies of our God we all will sing
